· Give a compliment
· Try to get to know someone on another team
· Introduce yourself “my name is _________What’s your name?”
· Show friendliness by asking questions:
o Which school are you from?
o Have you competed in tournaments before?
o What other activities do you like?
· Be helpful
Potentially Hurtful
· After victory, ignoring the other team, or other team members
· Big, public, victory celebrations
· Anything that seems like teasing
· Anything that seems like name-calling
· Saying things like “that was easy!” can make others feel bad
