I am a good listener, and I like working with kids. I also enjoy helping people solve problems. I believe that talking about feelings is helpful and that we can all get better at it. I also think bow ties are cool and have a collection of them. I got my Bachelors Degree in Creative Writing from The University of Washington in my hometown, Seattle. I attended Portland State for my Master's Degree in School Counseling. When I am not hanging out with students at school, I can be found performing improvisational theater at local theaters, riding my bicycle, and remodeling my house. One of my favorite learning experiences was when I was in 5th grade and my family moved to Tianjin, China for one year. I still speak a bit of Mandarin. I love cats.
